October 29, 2009 Afternoon Forecast
Another wet morning in Starkville. Hilbun Hall (MSU campus) captured slightly over one inch of precipitation this morning, bringing our total rainfall amount to 59.05 inches of rain for the year; 7 inches above average!
Today, we expect the rain to move out by 1PM. Clouds will linger over the region and give us a muggy feeling high temperature of 75 degrees. Tonight, clouds will stay with us, helping to keep our overnight low around 70 degrees.
Friday will be another cloudy day in the morning and afternoon hours with a slight chance of rain. High, 69 degrees. As we progress into early evening hours (7PM), a cold front will begin to move into the area. Rain chances will increase drastically with the impact of the cold front. Showers and Thunderstorms are likely Friday night with temperatures in the lower 50’s.
The cold front will be moving out of the area on Saturday morning, leaving us with clear skies and a crisp high of 63 degrees.
