November 2, 2009 Afternoon Forecast
October turned out to be a very wet month! In fact, our gauge here at Hilbun Hall measured just over 11 inches of rain for the month. That’s 8 inches above our normal precipitation for October! Thankfully, October is behind us and we’re beginning November with beautiful weather!
Over the next week, dry and sunny conditions will prevail. With sun and a light breeze today, we’ll have a high around 68. Tonight there will not be any clouds to hold that heat in so temperatures will drop all the way down into the low 40s. A weak cold front will pass through Tuesday. We’ll just have slightly increased cloudiness as a result. Temperatures will again approach 70 tomorrow and dip down into the mid 40s tomorrow night.
