November 10, 2009 Morning Forecast
Welcome to this Tuesday edition of your Mississippi State Campus Connect Weather Forecast! Well, rain is back in our forecast again here in the Golden Triangle area after a full week of sunny skies. We are continuing to see remnants of Tropical Storm Ida as she has already made impact on the Gulf Coast. The good news is these scattered showers will quickly clear out to our northeast this afternoon and leave us with partly cloudy skies. Do be watchful for high winds along with this storm with gusts at 15-25 mph for the rest of this morning and afternoon. Also this evening a cold front will be moving through Starkville helping to aid in getting Ida out of our area. This will give us a low around 50.
Dry air will then begin to move in on Veteran's Day allowing for temperature's to be a little cooler. The high on Wednesday will be in the mid 60s with lows on Wednesday and Thursday night around 40. It's looking like it will warm up with sunny skies on Friday and Saturday. Your gameday forecast for MS State vs Alabama is going to be a little cooler. Temperatures at kickoff look to be around 55 degrees then dipping down into the mid 40s towards the end of the game. A weak front will be approaching on Saturday, but it doesn't look like much rain will be associated with it which is definitely good news for our Bulldogs. Keep logging in for more up-to-date information throughout the week!
