October 27, 2009 Forecast (morning)

CampusConnect Forecast

We have had quite a change in our weather since yesterday. Early this morning clouds steadily began coming in associated with winds from the Gulf of Mexico flowing in a SE pattern. Along with these clouds we have had rainfall totals estimated between a tenth of an inch to three quarters of an inch in certain areas this morning. These rain chances will continue throughout the day today, with the higher chance of showers in the middle of the day. We are looking at our high today of 62 being a little cooler then yesterdays. The good news is this rain will begin to move on out of our area tonight, and we can expect lows in the lower 50s for Tuesday night.

On Wednesday morning we will see areas of fog in the early to mid morning, while the rest of the day looks otherwise quite nice as it will be sunny with a high in the mid 70s. Calm winds can be expected going into Wednesday night, with a low around 55. The forecast will (of course) change as we look into the latter part of the week, with chances of rain and thunderstorms in our near future.
